This Poet of Fate is the original model for Herbert Johnson's Indiana Jones hat, as seen in Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fate. This iconic style is the exact same hat Indiana purchased from us in 1969, and represents the end of a legendary series that has inspired fans for over 40 years.
Made from our nutmeg-colored fine rabbit felt, it features a black-brown ribbon. Reminiscent of the 1960s style, these timeless hats are completely handmade for each customer by our skilled milliners!

All of our felt is pre-shrunk at the blocking stage to avoid as much post shrinkage as possible. Our bunnies are pounced to a smooth finish and coated with a protective layer to prolong its resistance to the elements. While not as thick as our beaver felt, our bunnies make for very good quality felt hats.
Our Raiders of the Lost Ark style includes genuine grosgrain Indy ribbon, which is identical to the original movie hats, still produced for us to the same specifications, and woven by the same machines.
